Established in 2001, we’re an experienced picture framing company, based in central Oxford. The proprietor, has been in the picture framing business for 30+ years, seeing all kinds of objects from all walks of life. We aim to frame artworks and items to the highest level of conservation so it will last you years to come.

Our background

Covered Arts is an independent bespoke picture framing company located in the heart of Oxford’s historic Covered Market. The company was established in 2001 by husband-and-wife team Paul and Mandy. Paul started his picture framing career at 17 years of age, working for a variety of major national UK framing companies. His 30+ years of experience has seen him work with museums, galleries and now, the University of Oxford. He started Covered Arts to run a framing company with a more personable approach to the art of framing, allowing him to oversee the highest level of conservation and care to each piece that comes through Covered Art’s doors. Paul and his team aim to offer the best advice on how to frame your images and educate others on conservation and importance of framing.

Our values

We pride ourselves on using highest quality materials when it comes to framing your pictures. A frame should last a lifetime, and we aim to provide this so generations can enjoy your framed items. Therefore, we use acid-free conservation mount boards, high quality glass and mouldings from suppliers that look after the environment.
