Bespoke picture framing
With over 30 years’ experience in picture framing, we’ll help you find the perfect mount and frame. Bring your artwork or prints to our shop in the Covered Market, Oxford. Talk to us about the colour and style of the room where your picture will go. We’ll take the time to talk through your frame and mount options, and make suggestions during this collaborative process.

Ready-made frames
Looking for a frame quickly? We stock a range of high-quality ready-made picture frames from Germany. Our ready-made picture frames are available in a range standard metric frame sizes. As we have a small shop, larger sizes may have to be ordered in and if we don’t have a standard frame size that works for you, we can also discuss bespoke picture framing.
Local artist prints and original paintings
As well as a framing shop, we are proud to support local artists around Oxford. We have a variety of prints and originals for sale, inspired by scenery, architecture and literature of Oxford.
Picture frame refurbishment
Do you have a picture or a piece of fine art you would like to display but the frame or mount is broken, fading or doesn’t do the picture any justice? We can suggest ways to overhaul the frame or mount to ensure your picture looks its very best. Talk to our team about picture frame refurbishment, and we’ll bring your artwork back to life.
Mount cutting
A carefully chosen picture frame mount will bring out the colours in your picture, while complementing the colour scheme of the room where it will go. Choose from our wide range of picture frame mounts, in hundreds of colours and sizes. We’ll talk you through the types of mounts we think will work well with your picture, and cut the mount to size for you.
Glass cutting
Do you need new glass for a picture frame? Bring your picture to us and we’ll measure up, ensuring the measurements are correct and the right size for your frame. We can also discuss the types of glass you need – including the thickness of the glass and whether you need an anti-reflective glass to see the picture at its best.

Q: Is the timber you use environmentally friendly?
A: We always work with the environment and sustainability in mind. We source our mouldings from certified suppliers that use ethical and sustainably sourced materials. All our suppliers have the certified FSC mark of responsible forestry.
Q: Can you provide recommendations for picture frame styles and mounts that complement my artwork?
A: Yes, we work closely with our customers to recommend picture frame styles and mounts that enhance the artwork.
Q: What is the cost for your picture framing services?
A: Our bespoke framing services are priced on a case-by-case basis depending on the size of the frame and mount, and the types of materials used. It is incredibly hard to quote without seeing what we are framing first, so please bring in your items and we can give you a free consultation and quote at the end of it.
Q: Can you frame unusual or non-standard items, such as 3D objects or textiles?
A: Yes, we are able to recommend frames for all types of pictures and objects.
Q: Can you frame oversized or valuable pieces?
A: Yes, we can frame most oversized and valuable pieces. Appointments can be made for the framing of valuable pieces for a further in-depth consultation with our proprietor. We can frame oversized pieces up to 2m by 1.5m as we are limited by the size of our workbenches, please contact us if you are unsure.
Q: How do you ensure the safety and protection of my artwork during the framing process?
A: All artworks are cared for the same way. We wrap each individual item in acid free tissue paper, and they are then stored flat in an acid free folder.
Q: Do you offer UV-protective or anti-glare glass options?
A: Yes, we offer a range of different glass types. We obviously have our favourite glass types tried and tested over many years. However, if you’re looking for something specific, we are happy to quote on any glass types within the industry.
Q: Do you offer any guarantees or warranties on your framing work?
A: We look to build a relationship with the customer to create the frame desired. As it is a consultation process, we are happy to amend and tweak if the product was not received as expected.
